Thinking about the All Terrain Tire, appears the lift is necessary? Otherwise no. Don't want to put too much $$$ into this. It will be mostly for hauling random stuff from the nursery, hardware store, or to the dump.

I would think it would matter completely about what tires you chose. If your use case is only utilitarian, you can make do with something that isn't so prominent.

If you are vane (like me), you'll opt for the lift so as to have an excuse to get running boards!

The size of the tire, not its type, determines whether a lift is required or not.

You can get All-Terrain tires is the stock size, or a size just slightly larger, and not need the Lift Kit.

was thinking maybe running boards at later date, regular heigh, if beneficial for wife. Had them on my Ridgeline, have them on Tundra.

I want to see it in person before getting running boards. It may just be low enough stock that getting into it is no problem, even for elderly relatives.

Take it for what it's worth, but the stock height definitely doesn't need running boards in my opinion. I'm 6'3", so maybe that affects things, but at stock height I was able to sit down into the driver's seat just from a flat footing.

I just changed out my EV's stock OEM Michelin 225-55x19 tires after 33K miles with 255-55x19 RFT tires on a new set of wider rims.

Added 1" tire height in addition to the 1.5" Eibach coil spring lift kit = 2.5" lift all around.

Getting in is easier and the ride has dramatically improved - feels more truck like.

Also never have to worry about a flat as run flat tires can go up to 50 miles up to 50MPH on ZERO air pressure!

I like it.
What range hit have you experienced? I'd think it would be very little.

Wow that looks good!

What I like is that it still looks "Plausibly Stock".
(Looks like something the factory should have offered.)
The tires and wheels fill the wheelwells perfectly.

Those tires are 30" x 10".
Assuming there's a 19" wheel that fits on a Truck, that size would be workable on the Truck. (Stock is 29.5" x 9.6".)

They're kinda pricey, but so is buying a spare and a Tire Carrier, and with a spare you might need to change a flat tire on the side of the road.

I thought that's why God invented AAA! (Some folks aren't tryin to change their own tires, EV or otherwise. But, it REALLY helps to have a spare in case someone does, 50-miles run-flats notwithstanding.)
