Yes I agree,, but remember after the added costs of the accessories, labor installation for those that are not inclined or mechanically unable - there is no return on resale value for add ons.I disagree. All the big carmakers make huge profits selling cars loaded with feature packages. Customer has little choice. I LOVE adding and modding and personalizing and constantly refreshing my ride. That's a big part of why I love this Slate concept. Virtually no features whatsoever for me to waste my money on only to pull it out and replace it, like a crappy stock stereo and speakers which always suck. These people are definitely looking at the right truck.
A vehicle that had all those features built in standard like a BMW, Ford, etc will get better resale value.
I learned that a long time ago when I upgraded my truck with lots of off road accessories and found out at the time of resale, it didn't count.
