Evtruth said the doors have a key hole too. So I guess the question is whether the ignition is FOB only meaning we have to carry both.
My '16 CRV has a traditional key hole in the driver's door. I've never used it, not even once. Its presence on the Slate is probably just a backup in case the fob battery dies.

FINALLY an EV that gives you an easily accessible way to get back into it / get things left inside it if the battery dies! Sick of seeing stories about people's batteries going and having to smash windows / have roadside send a jump box to get at babies left inside or something.
