Only offering one size of battery now (~200 miles of range). I think that's plenty having owned an EV but kindof a tough sell when they were originally offering 240 miles for the high end.

Increased payload/hauling is great to see.

Edit - Dang. Really bummed that there's no vehicle to load (V2L) feature. That capability is so nice to have especially for a truck. Maybe they can do something with an adapter from the NACs port later. I don't think I'd be able to buy a new car without that feature now that I have it.

They always said no V2L.

I was getting the 150 mile so dont really care about 200 miles. But I do think it is a problem as 80% of people wanted the extended range. They will still need to offer it eventually even if it is nmc chemistry.

Wait... what?

They report a 63kWh battery. At 205-mile range, that's 3.25 kW/mile 3.25 miles/kW, doh. And that comes out to 109 MPGe. Is this correct?

I see they lowered the Slate by 1.3 inches. We already knew about the 20hp drop. Could these things (and maybe some others) have improved efficiency by that much - even with the increased weight?

Yes, seems like Slate took the opinion poll that this forum posted on battery preferences and made just 1 choice.

LFP is my preferred choice over NMC as I charge to 100% every time and live in a warm climate for which LFP is the preferred chemistry.

Sounds very optimistic getting 205 mile range / efficiency from a boxy truck.

Will have to see what real world numbers come out.

My Mach E gets real life 2.0 - 2.5 miles/kWh

I think the one pedal only is part of this too, have to Regen as much as possible to hit those efficiency numbers.

Oh... it's one-pedal driving. Not sure how I feel about that.

Don't tell metroshot.
