From this screen shot (00:37 seconds) it clearly shows a modified Cascadia Motion Integrated Drive Module. Cascadia is a US-based automotive supplier, subsidiary of BorgWarner, that develops and manufactures inverters, traction motors, and geartrains for various electric vehicle applications.
Earlier it was reported that the drive unit is produced by JJE Technologies, with facilities in Shanghai China and the US. While Slate was most likely experimenting with multiple suppliers during the development phase, let's hope that Slate continues to source from USA suppliers.
