Your reservation gets you a Slate test drive in 2026!

Reservation holders will get an exclusive first chance to sit in a Slate. Beginning in 2026, we’ll have vehicles available for demonstration drives.

I’m betting they will have them available around the country next year and we will get a chance to examine them up close. And maybe even drive them on a closed course.

Yeah, I’ve seen those. I’m looking for something similar in 2026 that will be more widespread and will likely allow the reservation holders to get an up close look and maybe a test drive on a closed coarse in a large parking lot or arena. Ford did something similar with the Maverick back in 2021.

Since it’s reservations holders only, Slate could make the test drive an after hours private event at a baseball stadium parking field, for example. BMW has previously done this at Citi Field. Without any of the hoopla that would inevitably happen at a larger venue like SLC or Detroit (still on hold).

From my very limited understanding of the situation, is that the Chief Quality Officer got appointed to the CEO position & people are moaning and complaining that due to the current track record of the quality of Jeep products, some don't have high hopes for the new CEO.
