I am skeptical. Why? They don't give the battery size or type. There is chatter about the 150 mile Slate having LFP batteries. Also, chatter about the first batch having the 240 (I also heard 250) mile NMC and the 150 mile version coming later. If this is the price of the 240 mile version...it's cheaper then I expected.

seems the website isn't updated for pricing in the slate mark though so that might come one the 24th and seems if we did have the tax credit the base slate would be 17,450 if you got the full $7,500 sad but oh well looks like the suv kit going off of the around $5,000 comment it would be about $29,950 not add the extended range which some have speculated to be $3,000 and that would be $32,950 for the "full kit and kabodle"

I woke up for my midlife bio break and of course had to go to Reddit and saw the price and almost tripped going to the baño. Now I can’t sleep!
