No, first shift and delivery window has to do with when you reserved, not when you pre-ordered today.
I'm "First Shift" with the "2027, to be announced" delivery window. I think first shift just means we did the preorder when it first opened and delivery date is determined by reservation date (mine was Mar 2026).

Yep, pretty sure that's right, with a regional figure thrown into the equation (i.e. Me and my pal order our Slates at the same time, but since he is in CA, he has a Q1 delivery date, and since I'm in MT, I get Q2). At least that's what seems to be the case.

Quite the array of reactions for the same truck. Reading through people’s posts, it seems to say more about the people than the truck. Put me down as “ecstatic.” I feel this is a unique moment in automotive history.

Correct, but you’ve been on the forum long enough that no matter what Slate did there would have been criticism. Sad.

Yup... that and one-pedal driving have given me second thoughts.
And also no extended range battery 205 is nice on paper but in the real world it is actually 170-180 miles of range so I don’t want to but I am going to wait on the ford I am so disappointed I really wanted the slate
