That's a little less than 2C which isn't all that great for a brand new EV. Model 3 RWD peaks at 2.81C. At least it's better than the Mach-E which tops out at 1.5C. I wonder what the average C-rate will be from 10-80%.
I have never owned an EV so i wasn't sure how it compared. I won't be doing much of any level 3 charging since I can get enough with level 2 to top off each night if needed but still good info that you gave

My 2015 Model S had a charging rate that started around 1.25C at 10% and fell to about 0.4C (!!) by the time it got to 80%. It did have a bit more than 35 miles of range more than the Slate, but it really wasn't that bad to road trip a few hundred miles. That is, unless you were charging more than twice, or if you were going into a charging desert and you needed more than 80% battery. When you're road tripping an EV, you can eat and go to the bathroom while it charges, so the time waiting for the vehicle while you otherwise have nothing else to do is often pretty short.

From the AMA on Reddit:
"... we will have a tire inflator and repair kit offered as an accessory in the marketplace."

I'm sure if ModernSpare wants to advertise on Slate's site, they would be happy to accommodate. But it's more likely that ModernSpare will just add the Slate to their list.
That's an easily doable thing, unless Slate already has something else lined up. ModernSpare contacts Slate, Slate sends them the specs, and they put together a kit, sell that kit on their own site, and list it on Slate's. If someone buys at Slate: Slate keeps a standard percentage, the rest goes to ModernSpare who ships the kit.
Standard marketplace transaction.
I did notice when I searched for the Bolt, ModernSpare linked to ValueSpare.
Those prices will probably get some complaints if they do list at Slate though.

Maybe. A lot of 15A circuits are wired with 12ga wire.

IF that's your situation you can upgrade the breaker and the outlet.

Code only calls for 14ga for 15A though ... so in older homes (and still possibly newer ones) you're probably looking at having 14ga wire and that's no bueno for upgrading to 20A.
When we built our house, 14ga was lights/switches only

My NC house was built in 1980, and thankfully it is the same. All receptacles are 12ga, 20amp. They did something right. Of course, all that Romex wiring is not color coded like today. You need to feel the cable and read it like braille to find the imprinted gauge. Or just eyeball the bare wire ends.

At our house we have been running 2 evs 12k miles a year each on lvl 2 at 24amps just fine.

Very interested in the lvl 3 charge curve. Even with lfp I think the Slate may be a bit faster than my MachE w ncm. Time will tell.
