I remember drying off after a shower and being wet five minutes later. Seeing evaporator drains not dripping, but water actually running at stop lights. I feel for you!Living in GA...I feel you. It's nasty humid now.

So my BIL used to tell me. Iād remind him, āso is my oven.āTruth. "But it's a dryyyy heat..."?
You beat me to it. šSo my BIL used to tell me. Iād remind him, āso is my oven.ā
I'd like to see some info on this as well. The Chevy Avalanche is pretty well known for having midgate leaks, so hopefully Slate's implementation is better than Chevy's was.But the Gladiator has a separate box from the cab, so water can't leak between the box and the cab, just like a regular body-on-frame pickup.
The Slate box front wall is removable, which means water can leak through to the cab.
My hope is an electric AC compressor can run at the 'optimal' speed 100% of the time. My Fit's AC works wonders when driving, but when you get stuck in traffic it is almost unbearable. Does not do well in idle. Car has a loooong dashboard that just radiates so much heat.I truly hope the cooling system is up to the task here in Arizona. In the Summer, temps rise to just a few degrees cooler than the surface of the sun.
Makes sense. It's like 65F in Berlin right now...My hope is an electric AC compressor can run at the 'optimal' speed 100% of the time. One of those urban legends stories I heard many years ago was Mercedes-Benzs through the 70s and 80s had terrible AC systems. One year a bunch of higher-ups from Germany were flown in for something important in Phoenix and shuttled around in Mercedes-Benzes. The cars couldn't keep up with four people in the Arizona summer and them being so miserable is why they beefed up the AC systems in future cars!
And I believe Berlin usually cooler than Stuttgart, but not a lot.Makes sense. It's like 65F in Berlin right now...
Great pics! I think I'll use that first one as my phone wallpaper. Thanks for sharing
I kind of like the slate gray with a splash of color...might have to rethink my bedliner/spray color strategy.Great pics! I think I'll use that first one as my phone wallpaper. Thanks for sharing
Oh yea like the one that says donāt drink the battery fluid. lolGreat pictures and you can tell it's a prototype because the 200 warning stickers are missing.
Yeah. But that's a dry heat. Try living in Southeast Texas. Lol.I truly hope the cooling system is up to the task here in Arizona. In the Summer, temps rise to just a few degrees cooler than the surface of the sun.
