I’m not asking whether the current 205-mile battery is sufficient. I’m asking whether anyone has heard anything official from Slate from customer support or from a company representative that there are plans for a future extended-range battery option.

Has anyone seen or heard a definitive statement from Slate on that?

The answer is NO no one has heard anything about a future extended battery. Highly doubtful that anything will be announced about anything like that for the next 12 months.

Has anyone heard anything definitive from Slate about a future Extended Range battery option?

I know Slate has moved to a single 205-mile battery for the initial production truck, but has anyone seen an official statement, heard from a Slate representative, or attended an event where they confirmed whether a higher-capacity battery is planned for a future model year or as an upgrade? I’d gladly pay extra for a 275–300+ mile option if it became available.

I’m looking for confirmed information rather than speculation. Thanks!

I don't think Slate would discuss a future plan of offering an extended range due to risk osborning the 205 mile range that they are accepting pre-orders for now.
