I'm genuinely curious to know the sentiment out there. I've very cautious here, so definitely not a day one, week one, month one kind of guy. But how about you?

Give it to me day 1. I want one of the first ones off the line.

Based on everything I have seen so far I have no reason to believe the vehicle is going to be anything different than what they have shown/advertised. It won't be a huge over promise under deliver situation like some other electric trucks cough cybertruck cough

The truck perfectly fits my needs and wants and I'm comfortable with the expected price +/- a couple thousand. So unless they come out on order day and say oh wait it's actually like 40 grand I'm clicking the order link as soon as I get it.

We shall see what this next year holds. Build and price makes a big difference.

If base price stays low and add on bits do not nuke the deal I could be getting a lot of neat stuff. If I can buy it all in a crate and bolt it on in my driveway even better.. I thrive on busted knuckles.

Not making a reservation because it seems like a waste of $50 right now. But I'll buy on day one that they are selling to the general public, provided I can get my finances in order.

Not guts, no glory!!

I am hoping to snag one of these early and hang on to it long into the future. I’m thinking it might actually be like mine Mavericks. Worth more than I paid for them a year and half later.

One can hope.

If I've had a test drive next summer as planned, and my finances allow, and nothing else changes, I'll buy as soon as possible.

I don't know how well that strategy will work. While there may be a number of cancelled reservations, in the first few weeks, they had over 100k reservations. The target when they hit full speed production is 150k per year, so they may not get through those first weeks of reservations even with cancellations in the first year. Who knows when they will get to general public orders where you can order it and get it delivered in a few weeks.
I figured, it's a refundable $50, no commitment, at any time I can just ask for it back.

I'm going to wait until there's official confirmation that it's flat-towable, and there's a base plate available that fits my Demco bars. I doubt that will happen day 1, so it'll be some time later before I order one.
