From the AMA: "better to get it as an SUV or DYI? If I DYI and order it at the same time, no shipping, right?" A: " No. The best value is to have your SUV kit installed before delivery. "

That says to me expect shipping charges for all this stuff, and the big stuff can be expensive.

Looks a lot like the space that had been available in my old Ranger! Seeing that huge volume (and remembering the disaster area of ratchet straps, jumper cables, umbrella, snow brush, and other junk that accumulated back there) makes me a lot more likely to want the Molle panels, T-rails, and other organizers!

Even more if you're short like me! It *does* remind me of the back of my Ranger EV, but that only got 70 miles on a charge, sealed LA pack and an Avcon connector to the EVSE. They wouldn't sell me the NiMH version I had leased before that.

Open air kit price confirmation: $3,950

The open-air kit is the basis for both SUV setups - It’s the same structure under both. You’ll be able to purchase the open-air kit on its own as an accessory and either install it yourself or have RepairPal do it. We’re ready to share the price exclusively here on the AMA: It’s $3,950.

There are 4x Access Points (weld-nuts) on the bed floor at each of the four corners where you can attach tie-downs. They are a common size for already existing T-nuts/T-studs and they are built for ratchet straps or other hardware. We’re finalizing load ratings on the roof racks but they are designed for hauling lumber.
