Lots. Just....lots.
So I love Halloween. My wife loves Xmas. No, we are not a "The Nightmare Before Christmas" couple (though we do like that movie) - my sister and her husband are those people. But I was talking about some of the threads on here and about wraps and it got to a point where we were talking about ridiculous wraps and it occurred to us:

The panels are replaceable, like ENTIRE panels, designed to be easily swapped out. So whats to stop us from having a Christmas car, a Halloween car, a Valentines Day car, a Game Day car, a Camo car, etc....? You could have a collection of them you change for the season or event that sit in the rafters of the garage when not in use.

And if we can just swap them out, whats to stop us from swapping them with custom made 3D panels? Hey, maybe you want a 1950s era looking mod? Sure, why not. Body kits have always been a thing, right? Bet this one would be super easy to make them for. Or, like, maybe I make a skull front clip for Halloween? Or fake sleigh fenders for Christmas with a fat Santa on the back and a red light up hood ornament? Anyone a fan of "Dumb and Dumber"? How about that car? Or any other weird Hotwheels-acid-tripping-inspired-fever-dream anyone ever had? It could be fun for a parade one weekend and then back to normal-normal for work come Monday. Ive seen it done with metal fabs, fiberglass, and carbon fiber, sure, but those are a lot more involved with things not DESIGNED to easily be removed and replaced and are considered permanent, expensive, and labor intensive swaps. But the Slate panels are designed to be (relatively) easy to work with and cheap. So how crazycould this get?

You think wraps are gonna get 'ugly'....wait until the car show and modding crowds catch wind of this stuff.... :/

I've already been thinking that if I had a Slate now I'd probably be printing jack-o-lantern or skull light covers, the ones they show multiple different ones in the maker, that are MADE to be replaced with custom, and yes, that other panels could be swapped or wrapped for the season. Your head and tail lights could have Christmas tree silhouettes, or any other holiday, easily, and like a 5 minute swap

To take this "One Step Beyond" - I would not be surprised if Slate catches on, that some aftermarket starts to do custom Slate panels. Give it more of a streamlined 1940s-'50s look. Might even help with the milage. Maybe throw in some fuzzy dice?
In reality what will be needed is a Slate service and mod center. Not quite a dealership, But a place that will do service on your slate, but also offer to do your mods, wraps, sell accessories, etc. Like a Tesla service center but also a place where you can pick up DIY stuff or have the pros do it. (I still hear my wife laughing when I said I would do my own wrap.)

My sister had one of these in the early 70's. Yeah, this will be fun, with the occasional "what the hell were they thinking".

I'm sure someone is gonna get all "practical and critical" about this but stop. Before ya do let's have some fun with this. A LOT OF FUN. Slate is all about creativity and DIY. Jeepers mod, hot rodders mod, 4x4s mod, VWs mod. Slates will mod !
I envision Slate rallies, Slate shows, Slate camp adventures......OH!! how bout a whole Slate burning man weekend !!

I am tracking 100%. I would be the nerd that installs an extra retractable storage shelf from my garage ceiling (https://www.fleximounts.com/garage-...9W5JuwMnI7JiFMJzFtqUxvhd3uwR5VAsaAia8EALw_wcB) just to house all of my seasonal panels and pieces of Slate flair.

Yes, this can't be cheap, but life is short.
