I'll put on my list of mods.SKYROOF® Gen.Z sunroofs have a rotary latch for infinite venting positions and the glass can be easily removed and stored for as full open air experience.

Do y'all only have the one size?SKYROOF® Gen.Z sunroofs have a rotary latch for infinite venting positions and the glass can be easily removed and stored for as full open air experience.

That could work, but to truly be the 'full' open air experience...SKYROOF® Gen.Z sunroofs have a rotary latch for infinite venting positions and the glass can be easily removed and stored for as full open air experience.
I also only need 3 positions: Closed, vented, and removed. Removal should be accomplished with no tools and in only a few seconds. I've also never felt the need to run a sunroof only partially vented or opened... So if the 'rotary knob' mechanism does anything to make removal less convenient than a simple 2-position latch could, it would be a bug not a feature IMO.Make it the whole hole.![]()
DONMAR sunroofs are sold and installed by independent professional vehicle customizing shops nationwide.
Woodie via wrap?IMHO wrecked and salvaged Slates will become a "thing" for this very reason. I am thinking aftermarket body panels to give it a more 50s look, perhaps bring back the "Woodie"?
That would be the cheapest route, unless you can spray/dip the panels expertly?Woodie via wrap?
Sure hope you are right. Just not in my DNA to pay premium for a learnining experience. I say learning experience as I’m counting on having one of the 1st Slates here on the Big Island. Very very doubtful someone got one before me and had sun roof installed locally. The Donmar offering is anti-D-I-Y.
We can expect other options that are D-I-Y.
Not in my skillset. 😁That would be the cheapest route, unless you can spray/dip the panels expertly?
Mine neither. I admire those who can. I’m more of wrench-turner. More torque wrenches and Less artistry. Not in my skillset. 😁
The Fiero even had a place in the frunk to put the glass top when you took it out.Do y'all only have the one size?
If you partnered with Slate would you make a custom size that utilizes the maximum space of the roof?
The Pontiac Fiero had a factory popup roof that looks great. People would add them to the cars that didn't but they used a universal one that stuck up above the roof and was smaller and shaped differently. And oh man the leaks on the aftermarket ones, where if you kept the drain channels clean on the stock one it wouldn't leak.
Thanks
Yes! My TTops had carpeted sleeves for the trunk of my Monte Carlo. Of course the trunk was big enough for all of the Sopranos, so TTops weren’t noticed. The Fiero even had a place in the frunk to put the glass top when you took it out.
Maybe a hangar on inside of Frunk lid?The Fiero even had a place in the frunk to put the glass top when you took it out.
The panels are pretty flat, without a lot of compound curves. You might even be able to do a real wood veneer, and not just a fake wood sticker.Woodie via wrap?
Was already planning on itIMHO wrecked and salvaged Slates will become a "thing" for this very reason. I am thinking aftermarket body panels to give it a more 50s look, perhaps bring back the "Woodie"?
