I am prepared to go up to $28K for the extended battery. But $30K isn't too far away eh? It's just $2K extra, which over three years is $55.6/mo and $1.54/day. $2 is how much I pay for snacks from the vending machines at work.

I will whine and groan for a few days about $30K but yes I am still in. $40K would be too much for me. That is fancy and outta ma league. I am a $20K car kinda owner/driver.

What are we all gonna do on 6/24? 🤦
I imagine besides devouring the Slate update we will be sharing our view generously

To those who voted "under $25,000 and will not complete a purchase" ...

may we assume you already had your reservation fees refunded?

Interesting poll. I think most people would consider $27,499 as the upper limit of mid-twenties. When Slate crosses this threshold then 62% of the buyers disappear. Fortunately, the wisdom of the crowd based on another poll, is that the price is going to come out under $25k.

For me, I think $30k would force me to press pause. Perhaps get a utility trailer and wait and see what else might be around the corner between Ford and Tesla. I honestly prefer the Slate over the Ford Ranchero but at $30k it makes you question what is the better value.

$27,500 with the extended battery and my wrap and bed utilities is running up against my upper limit. I have a $75k Lightning Lariat and don’t really ‘need’ this truck, but I do want one and I want to support a US EV startup.

We will see.

They had better come in at the bottom end of the $20k price range. There are hundreds of low mile, less than two year old EV's in the market place that cost less than $32,000.
A quick search on Carmax showed 353 vehicles with price less than $32k, and less than 20,000 miles. That included a bunch of Nissan Leaf at $19k, some Kia and Hyundai Kona at $25k, and some Tesla and Blazer EV at the top end.
Yes, I am price sensitive and demand value for my money.

You tell’m tiger. Likely shaking in their pre 6/24 boots. IMHO, likely you’re not their target market.
