I would classify Mutiny in the same category as Ironwood. Nothing more than a poorly executed concept, or possibly a non-working mockup that will never materialize. I think when you begin to see Slates on the road, you may regret cancelling your reservation. Good luck.
The Ford Lighting is Dead. I will wait to see how far this will tow.

That's a concept and nothing more, I'd have at least left the deposit in, because that concept may disappear entirely before you'd have even had to make a decision in around a year.
Telo at least has built A prototype, but they are far from production, and plan on slow production.
Ford is selling new E-Transit Vans for $30k, I bought one last year for $25k. This year going to buy Promaster EV under $20k (hoping for $15k). EV prices are declining with 1 million used ev's coming back to market from lease and not enough demand. I do want newer and better EVs and willing to pay more if they offer features that make financial sense. Most luxury EVs are way overpriced and will plummet in price soon enough. Even Mercedes EQS EVs lightly used are going less than $30k. I call it the EV Blood Bath. I can't wait for BYD Seagull (Chevy Bolt) to come as they are selling under $7k NEW in China currently and are a very good EV.

I just like the open source nature of his idea AND Japanese Kei Trucks. I have always wanted one which led me to Slate as it was being modeled after a small Toyota Truck (always been a super fan of Toyota hilanders). I keep searching for EV Trucks that can take a real beating for work purposes. I have an E-Transit currently which I love but it is for big tasks (146" wheelbase, top speed 85mph and 3000lb cargo capacity, i have towed 8500lbs with it but killed range) and would want a small Kei truck for daily driving if it comes with proper airbags all over. If not forget it.

These are also going under $30k new but I am not a fan:
Living With A Chevy Brightdrop 400! | The Van Of The Future!

My dream vehicle is an EV Camper Van that I can use as a mobile home and travel the country when I have time. Unfortunately, that market isn't being addressed and people have to make EV Camper Vans for the time being, probably for next 5+ years. My current EVs are being used for work not for pleasure.
