I like that they are re-purposing an existing (possibly eyesore ?) facility. We are too quick to develop every inch of open land here in the US. Of course I know that there is a huge difference if the property was a metal plating plant or dealing with pFAs chemicals. Hoping the printing plant didn't fester the soil etc. to the point it holds up the project.
I admire what Bill Ford & Family did with the old train depot in Detroit. The Warsaw property could be just the start of Slate's future plans. Once proven, they would likely need a bigger facility. As for you tax abatement critics-let's not forget the massive subsidies we give agriculture giants and the fossil fuel industry.
