I picked meteoroid grey, and just now, after placing a pre-order the color and electric window are gone, stating no longer available

Not concerned about the power window kit that much, there are other aftermarket options. I was going to wait anyway till I got tired of self cranking the windows. Only time I put down my window is at a drive-through or if I want to holler at the stupid driver that almost hit me.

I liked the integration of the power windows looking like it is factory and not aftermarket. The color was also my fav. I also was going with extended battery which is now not available. Lots of “no longer available” after the non-refundable was paid

Wasn’t it your choice to see what was available before paying? 30 days? They didn’t disappear after you paid.

Maybe I'm just stupid but I can't find this sticker in the maker anywhere. It's still on the truck I built from a year ago:

The only place I've seen something like that is on the "Starter" builds you can see when beginning a new build (scroll down, then there is a panel you can scroll right on to see the builds). They have some interesting stickers I can't find anywhere else in the builder.

I noticed that Slate decal was missing too. I had it on my buildand it was still there on the build but not in the options.

I haven't played around with it enough, but many of the pre-packaged Slates found there (with some unique stickers and wrap combos) have my interest. Say I really like that tail Slate tag, I will design the rest of my wrap around that hoping it doesn't disappear, etc. There must be a way to keep that sticker while also changing up the design the way you like it. That's how I would try it anyway.

I checked it last night…it was there
Yeah but you had 30 days from this morning to pay the non-refundable order and keep your delivery window.

If you paid right away without looking at the other news, that’s your bad!

I may go with that one instead. I just wanted some "Slate" badging on the sides to match my other truck.

I'm guessing the power window kit had a supplier issue. One bad enough that they know 6 months out that it's not likely going to be available.

At least power windows aren’t as big a deal as, say, the camping stove option Rivian touted in their teasers of the R1T & then yanked from the options, to the dismay of many owners. Our Slate truck is narrow enough to reach across & manually crank windows, just like we’ve done for decades until economy of scale made power windows standard on most every new vehicle.

No, my build was based on their options They presented. Why give those options then remove them? That is not a sound business decision. It’s like being presented with a travel agency who says they have flights to Hawaii but the day you buy your ticket, the ticket says Nebraska *with a chance of Hawaii in the future*

so true! I also had to look for a new color and actually like the new one I picked. Also, after looking at some of the new options, I see a lot is exciting things.

I'm working on the perfect Slate, however, I'm finding some conflicts. I gotta remove the speakers if I want side stickers!

My OG design still has the original buttons.
