Creating a poll to determine whether you were drawn to the Slate for its looks or the price. Let’s be honest.
I added a few other possible responses.

Primary draw: Their current plan to have it be flat-towable.

After that, it was the general small size, utility, and minimalism.

For me it's Utility, Looks, Price/Value, Minimalist Design & Customization. So...sort of everything!

It's just about perfect for me. Keep It Stupid Simple. And affordable. And let me tinker with it and make it my own.

Can't wait to get to see it in Olympia!

Minimalist design. Minimalist features to be specific. I simply do not want to be staring at a massive touch screen all day at work and then again when I get into my car nor do I want added features I will never ever use but still have to pay for. Crank windows for the win.

I like the customization that’s my #1 and for me when it comes to something I want price isn’t that important because I know I’m going to enjoy what I buy because I will always love my life optimistically

I'm drawn to the Slate because I think an American Take on the Kei Truck Concept was cool: Cheap, Utilitarian, and customizable to how much or little you want in it. Plus I think part of me likes that it goes against the grain of what EV's are being more and more tech focused and putting the power back into the driver. I'm not against that direction if Tesla and Xiaomi want to take that road. But this trend has been going on in the industry for a while, not every single vehicle needs to be bigger and bigger and another smartphone. Finally it being American Made is a plus for me and I'm willing to spend a bit more for it assuming it lives up to the quality people expect when you see the label Made in America.

I believe it was the ‘Value’ proposition it offers. So it’s a combination of price and product that makes it attractive to me.
