The roll bar has the airbags & sensors built in, so there’s a large part of the cost.

I guess the Cargo option will show up in this section at some point? I'm hoping it will cost much less, not needing the rollbar airbags.

I have seen airbags installed on Ford Broncos for the back seat it is also installed around the roll bar and it's not very difficult to install on them just a shoulder workout having your arms above your head all day

Installed? I was under the impression that all Slates ship as trucks. The SUV kit (Or the open air kit, or any other accessory) will either require you to install it yourself, or pay some "authorized" shop to do it. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Edit: (From Slate Auto) I guess I am wrong. I really thought I watched a video where a slate rep said they only ship as trucks and everything must be installed later, and it comes flat packaged.

I think the intent is to say that ever Slate comes off the production line as a truck. The SUV modes take place after they leave the production line.

They we're saying that, after the price release they've been saying there will be factory SUVs.
The language being used is factory vs kits.
The factory SUV is priced as you see. We don't know the price of the SUV kit or how much shipping and install will be.
