Slates most difficult time will be in the first few years when production is limited. But the more they get into the hands of consumers and 2nd or 3rd owners get on the hands of them. The more the Slate Truck is going to sell itself. This makes me wonder what kind of Slates we will see on the used market in ten years. I predict some truly strange and possibly wonderful concoctions. It's the new minibus. As a former owner, I can attest that you just felt empowered to modify and decorate those things without restraint.
I think the "under-frame" (so called body in white) will become the most valuable "reclaim part". With that you have all the rolling hardware and depending on your skill level, you could make it look like just about any vehicle with bolt on parts. This makes me wonder what kind of Slates we will see on the used market in ten years.
