Will you have self control when choosing add-ons?

There’s really only a few I’m interested in. Power windows, center console, and speakers. Maybe lowering, but I might wait and see what the aftermarket support is like for that.

I'm worried that once I start accessing the kid's inheritance, I may not be able to stop. :)

I heard that from my youngest son, when can pulling up in my Lightning a couple of years ago, he may have a heart attack when I bring this little baby home to go with it. 😁

I'm waiting to see prices listed next to the options.

I got a little worried when some Slate employee said "only $500" for the wrap. My saying "only $ n" in my household is a big bugaboo. Even when n is a single digit.

Then have to consider side effects of the options. Does it affect range? Improve functionality?

The only thing I will be adding to my hopeful Slate will be a set of speakers, and that's about it. I like the idea of a stripped down vehicle. It's how I've always bought them. So, no worries for me

When it comes to my cars, historically, my self control has been non existent. I’m going to do my best for this one. I know I’m gonna want the phone mount since it doesn’t have a head unit or screen. Who knows what else I won’t be able to live without…

Looking into it a little more, looks like the phone mount probably comes with it but there’s a separate tablet mount that’s an upgrade. Phones are plenty big these days so I’m good with that, don’t need an iPad in there.

Gonna save this post as it’s one of the more sensible ones I’ll see.😛

Agreed. Impact on range is the big one for me. I could see lowering improving it ever so slightly, but I'm curious if the fender flares would negatively impact range. Same with the larger wheel options. I'm curious about the weight of the stock steelies vs the 20" alloys.

Upgraded battery. Single color wrap. Custom business decals (cheap). Sound system...not sure to what extent. Lift. Cargo Kit (maybe with glass side panels). Eventually AT tires when the OEM tires wear out.

i think i would take it stock and would leave it stock.

Electric passenger side mirror would be the one option I might want if it is available.

I dont need speakers and using my phone to nav is fine for me. I hate the brightness of giant screens in new cars when driving at night.

If there is a way for the dock to prevent my phone from locking when docked I would want that. I control my phone using voice commands anyway.
