With summer just around the corner, was thinking about the possibilities of using the Slate for tailgating parties.

This being my first pickup truck I never considered this before. I think Slate should offer a custom canopy option; I think it will sell like hotcakes.

One's imagination is really the limit with the blank Slate. I plan to put a tea maker and samovar in mine when doing social things with the truck.

Tailgates are party platforms. 🦊👍

Just add a source of music and an ice chest filled with whatever suits your fancy.

Maybe a tabletop (tailgate-top) grill if you're ambitious.

💯

I was just thinking about this today and on my way home from work. Never had a truck either and with the edition of the frunk, it could add such another layer to tailgating. I'd also love to see a custom canopy.

I’m sure the babes will be flocking to the simplest, cheapest truck made today lol
Actually, I think the design language of the truck appeals to women. Especially considering the subdued, non-aggressive stance and infinite color palette available for wraps. The Slate may be more of a ‘babe magnet‘ than you think. And the cash you saved on the truck can be used to spoil your significant other.

Cmon, you don't have to do Slate dirty by comparing its aesthetics with a Fiat/Jeep Renegade's.

You think so, huh? Welp everyone’s entitled to their opinion 🤷‍♂️

Makes me wonder if slate's frunk will have a drain so you can put ice in it. Definitely not needed for the first model but would be nice if they have one or have it in a refresh model
