They're Michigan plates, and the M in the center denotes them as manufacturer plates. These are issued to Slate and they can move them from car to car as long as Slate keeps detailed records of which car they're on and when.Street legal! Somehow. To me that just looks like perspective. First picture has good vanishing point on the left but I didn’t get the straightedge out to measure proportions.The truck has quite a rake to it. (Rear end is riding high.)
I did recommend to them to make tow style mirrors that’s what those look likeThose mirrors don't look like other slates we've seen. I'm guessing they are early mules.
