I've had my spare don't in the bed so long, I don't know if I could find it anywhere else. Probably carry plugs and electric pump. I haven't seen anything about a jack or lug wrench.
Slate told me there will be a jack and lug wrench kit available later.

Okay, I'm very familiar with the Fiero. My brother was an original adopter back in 1984.

There is no room in a Fiero for an EV battery. Maybe you could stack a small one in the rear, aft of the motor dive unit, but it would be seriously ass heavy and hydroplane the front end in heavy rain.
It has been done

If I can carry a diet spare behind the seat and maybe mount a jack and wrench on one of the T-slot setups, that's really all I'd want for around town. For road trips, I'd carry a full-size spare so I wouldn't have to wait for a repair or drive harshly speed-limited for too long a distance. (Time's too precious for either on our limited vacation availabilities.)

I'd be tempted to mount a jack on the passenger door, but you know how it is with jacks and doors. Takes up too much room to share, so I'd have to lose Rose the cubby.

I really need to say, modern cars really no longer need to carry spare tires. Modern car tires are quite robust and puncture resistant. Especially light truck tires (its an actual tire category). One can easily get by with an air compressor with sealant and/or a tread plug repair kit. That is what I've done for the past 20 years.

My 2 cents.
You are now jinxed for saying that.

Here is one with a full Model S battery, but my plan was to run a volt battery where the gas tank is.
I stand corrected. Pretty neat. I'd never think a Model S pack split in two would fit!

It would be interesting to experience how that S-Fiero actually handles. The battery weight is way up high in the chassis.

Ok, once again I'm full of crap. That is a very cool conversion, much more impressive than the Monte Carlo engine swap.
The company that does it says it's into the 6 figure territory, so impressive but very expensive. Lol granted, buying the Tesla was probably at least a 1/3 of that.

Since people that upgrade tires will get both sets, there is likely going to be a glut of brand new stock steels hitting the market. My plan is to pick one up, and stash it at the house. I'll likely never be too far away to have my wife drive it over should I need it.

You weren't there, you don't have all the facts. None of us do. Anything posted about metroshot's post is speculation. He acted how he felt he needed to in the moment.

Lets keep this focused on the topic of the thread please.

It would be nice once slate truck production ramps up that the aftermarket solution for this will come out , along the same or similar lines as the Rough Country universal spare bed mount. the tailgate mount is not an option for me since i will be using it with the tailgate down for the tasks i need to do. for now the only viable option is a tire repair kit in the frunk.
