Of all the upstart fails, this is a sad one.

Not making a decision is making a decision by default. Bollinger could not decide which vehicle to produce, so therefore, by default, they made a decision to produce nothing and ran out of money.

They did produce a few B4 commercial trucks, but not enough to stay in business.

Great news:
Bollinger Motors Has Been Saved from the Brink of Death!

Slate Auto Pickup Truck Another EV truck company goes down - Bollinger 1749123605099-fw

Bollinger Motors has been saved. Mullen Automotive has acquired an additional 21 percent of the company, bringing its total ownership to 95 percent. Despite having complete control over Bollinger, Mullen said the automaker will maintain “its own brand identity and focus.”

Bollinger reportedly went into receivership earlier this year after company founder and former CEO Robert Bollinger sued the automaker, who left in 2024. He claimed Bollinger Motors owed him $10 million, but all that should be in the company’s past.

According to Mullen announcing the acquisition, it has “resolved recent claims and debt that had led to a court-ordered receivership for Bollinger.” The court has discharged and removed the receiver and dismissed the case, Mullen says.

Full 8' bed, plus cab plus hood, probably 20-22' long? Don't know if any F-350 super duty is that long.
My 2001 GMC 2500hd 8’ bed extended cab (half suicide door) is 23’. Maybe the hood on the GMC is longer to make room for the 8.1l. Bollinger just looks longer.

I am sure 4 door 8’ bed Ford/Chevrolet are pushing 24’

Kinda looks like a very stretched old Defender. Would be better if it lost the rear doors and the bed was shorter. Shorter wheelbase too. 110" would be perfect.

Had a 2007 GMC 3500 Double cab, 8 foot bed. Don’t remember total length, but I sure did hate going to Walmart.
