Some interesting stuff in there.

Other interesting bits:

They have orders from Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Hey sodamo!

And also: "to date we've had 9.3 million different configurations created on the Slate Maker."

I did three of them, that was enough. I wonder how many people have done them and how many, and how interested they are?

That was new info, I think.

I wonder how many of those variations are just different slatelets on the dash lol.

As great as the maker is I do wish they had more options but priorities, they probably should start building the trucks :D

Agree, and at some point, the Slate team acknowledged that they could determine which are the most common accessories in demand. That is, if the maker is a realistic indicator of customer demand.

Still waiting for Slate to 'price up' the versions we have created in the garage. They can add it under the Summary page.

Prediction - It will be a sobering experience when Slate accessory pricing goes live. Better sit down on this one, as we look at what we've 'created. '

After the reveal, the next sound you will hear is the keyboard clicking the delete button. ;)

I actually did that this morning. Not because I hate the Slate or anything. I'm a fan. I just realized I'm not in a rush to buy one. If Slate has a delivery waiting list, that's fine with me. I have a rock solid Maverick in my driveway , and it's a great vehicle. I can chill and vicariously live the Slate's early days through all you adventurous types. Looking forward to all the early owner reviews here.

Whatever happens, I wouldn't cancel my reservation unless I really needed the $50 back right now, or was fearing Slate was about to declare bankruptcy and wouldn't be able to refund them. Even if my current car broke down right now, and I had to get something else, I'd hang onto the reservation in case something else changed, and another vehicle was needed when my chance for conversion came up.

Price of most of the accessories will be a kicker, would like to see the big ones (extended battery, toppers) be reasonable and possibly make it up on the one more attractive to future addons.
