In this article, Slate Auto CEO Chris Barman described the types of buyers interested in the company's low-cost electric truck.

The demographic groups include “everyday Americans”; young professionals, college graduates, newly-licensed drivers, contemporary seniors, retirees, and “car junkies.”

Where do you fit in?
(I’m in the senior category 😕)

I'd fit in the "young professionals" category. Or "car junkie". I also would squarely call myself an "everyday American". Just can't wait to get one

I find it funny that retirees, the generation that created all the tech we have today, are stereotyped as intimidated by tech.

After seeing some spectacular fails (people getting locked in Teslas, cars being shut off while on the road because of late payments) it makes sense to not want unnecessary tech.

Anyway, good article. The CEO sounds like an amazing woman and I really hope the company does well. We need vehicles like this. Good friends have one of her electric Audi's and love it.
