If you order power windows, I would almost guarantee they will ship you the truck with crank windows, and you will just make the conversion yourself. The single config allows them to be more efficient.

They specifically say in the FAQ:

> You can choose how and where your accessories get installed:

• DIY: easily install accessories at home with Slate University, our library of video tutorials and helpful how-to content.
• Before delivery: get select accessories installed at the Slate delivery partner.
• At a service partner: buy accessories after delivery and get them installed at your local Slate service location.

I'm not sure which accessories are "select", I read that to mean that the SUV kit/fastback kit is at least among of them. I'd wager it also includes a handful of other major items, like bumpers, wheels/tires, and suspension lifts/lowering kits. I'd also guess that window cranks are not among those select items.

IMO, you should be awarded credit back for returned stock parts if you get accessories installed prior to delivery. Otherwise they're going to have a ton of wasted 17" steelies and base-model bumpers and so on. It's still a little wasteful to receive a Slate with a window crank handle you never intend to use, but not nearly as bad as a whole bumper or something like that.

Also noticed for the first time that it says "installed at *THE* Slate delivery partner" not "installed at *A* Slate delivery partner." Another indicator of a Carvana/SilverRock partnership? That makes me believe it's not just a freight provider but some company that has automotive service centers. I know RepairPal service shops can install accessories after the fact, but they don't have a delivery network. If Carvana/SilverRock can also do repairs, that would be a huge expansion of the Slate repair network!

FWIW,, the JD power data on window systems rates power windows as more reliable overall, some manufacturers have had issues over the years, but the power has the better average. I saw it a couple years back.. almost no cars or trucks currently have manual windows.

I’ve never had to fix a crank window but I have replaced several power motors and regulators.

That's my plan. Winter tires on the steelies and find a different wheel/tire combo for dry weather. I haven't seen anything on what the Slate lug pattern size is.

I haven't either, but I bet you could measure it with photogrammetry. The BSD of the 17" rims and OD of the tires are well known, there are several good high-resolution telephoto images of the tires from perpendicular to the truck, measure the ratio of pixels across the tire and the pixels through a circle across the lug nuts, and a bit of math later you could figure it out. I'm on my phone or I'd do it.

When I asked them a few months ago about the wheel specs they said they had not yet been finalized. They may have by now, you can either ask slate or maybe we will know in a few more days.
