thats why my mother hung onto a big Oldsmobile -she could hardly see to drive over the dash. She liked to “touch park” and had the scratched up bumpers to prove it.

Wishing Slate would offer big rubber block bumper guards like cars in the 5mph bumper days. They have those big squares in the standard bumper, throw some blocks in there!
