With the idea of having a third party store and 3D printing being a focus for customization I'd be surprised if we didn't get some.

How so? Like I said I'd be surprised if we didn't get files. But I wouldn't expect them till closer to launch when they have finalized parts and tolerances with all their manufacturers and received production grade parts.
