Agreed. Slate is dropping the ball on that front.
How so? Like I said I'd be surprised if we didn't get files. But I wouldn't expect them till closer to launch when they have finalized parts and tolerances with all their manufacturers and received production grade parts.

Slate hasn't really given any indication of how they'll do this when release is only less than 12 months away. It doesn't have to be final parts or anything. A webpage with a vague blurb and interactive elements about teasing what's to come would be nice.

Ahh, so you're talking about having like the store front or university splash page up. Yeah I could see how that would inspire some confidence but also if they did post it and then let it sit dead for 6-8 months before they had their ducks in a row and had more to post it would seem like they don't care at the very least, from an outsiders perspective no?
