It’s the one I was considering. Now looking at the Squareback. Curious what that extra $2k gets over the Squareback.

From all I can tell, a better looking design, less cargo space and (potentially) a few more miles range.

I always expected the Slantback to cost more.
My expectation was the Squareback relocates the existing Pickup's cab window, but the Slantback needs a purpose built rear hatch window. That could explain the extra $2k above the Squareback SUV.

I don't know for sure, but am envisioning something like checking a box for each add-on as "Install" or "Ship." I'm hoping this is the case as there are a couple of things I'd like them to install, and I will handle the rest. But ya, no actual idea. Hope this helps...

Supposed to be your choice, but you will pay for installation on top of the price if you want it.

What do you mean?

The squareback kit re-uses the back window from the truck config. It just scoots it to the tailgate. The fastback config requires a completely different rear glass panel.

Ugh.. I need a backseat. I love the slate concept, but hate SUV form factor… very hard decision, not made easier by the high prices of the SUV options…
