Interesting. I friended her just to see what happens but I'm not confident it's really her. Will update if I find out more.

Is that link safe? I clicked on it and it told me I need to sign in. I am already signed into Facebook. Why would that link want me to sign in again?

No idea, on my phone it opens on the app and says page not found now. Guess it was a bot and got taken down.

Edit: I should have said no idea why it's making you login again. It was the link it had when I reported it.

Then why not remove the link?
Why would I? It does nothing now as the profile got deleted, and before that it was a link to the profile. It never was a phishing link.

No idea. I got kicked off of Facebook this summer. My happy birthday posts and shares about gardening and bees apparently violated community standards. They wanted me to upload a video selfie with my face at different angles (they would direct me). So, I let them kill my account. I miss the easy connection to family and old friends and I miss my local gardening group. But I don't miss Facebook. I wish more local groups and businesses found an alternative. I've heard the same thing happened to a few people I know. Maybe Facebook will just self destruct, which would be fine with me.

I abandoned Facebook in the early 2010s after I split with my then-girlfriend, as talking to her during non-date hours was the main reason I was maintaining it and I've never been one for social media. Ended up being a good thing, as I found at my first real career job that the employees would stalk each other online through it mercilessly.
