There is a pretty good gap between the bottom of the tailgate and the bed on the prototypes from what has been reported.

Pretty sure it will need to be for the SUV versions though. May come with a tailgate seal when you get the SUV kit.

It does. Videos from the 6/24 price reveal show a typical automotive type seal rubber surround much like you find on a car/truck door.
