First drive review of Slate truck coming on Jay Leno's Garage!

The Slate pickup will soon be featured on Jay Leno's Garage and from Jay's preview words, it sounds like he's impressived! This will surely boost Slate Auto's profile among the general public.

I am too, the Telo was a fairly decent review, much better showing than Scout did, still no idea why Scout demo'd their pre-preproduction prototype instead of letting it bake some more. I'm assuming this is still a pre-production but like the Telo a lot more polished.

any time I see a wrap with a white roof, it confirms to me that's the way I want to go too. I think it looks good with any base color below.

Yeah, I only even saved 2 builds on the maker, one red and white like this, and one green with white top, so they are similar to the scouts my grandparents had. Might not make much difference, but it feels like the white top might reflect some heat away.

Natural grey or 2 tone, that is the question. Both give it that retro feel.

I've gotta have that S-10 Blazer or Bronco II two tone. White top too. Can't decide color but McLaren Papaya is the favorite right now. Love Jay Leno's Garage. The story about his dad's Ford Fairlane is a great one.

I would love to see Slate do a video titled "1001 Slates" (not Dalmations). It would be a montage of Slates in different factors and 1001 wraps.

Now that would be cool. I predict we'll really start seeing cool Slates in five years, when a used Slate is under $10,000, and creative kids start going crazy with wraps.
