Are wraps difficult to remove? Do they leave a residue?

I'm interested in the roof cap and the upper partial wraps, but I don't want the roof pillars or the tailgate wrapped. Maybe they can be removed upon arrival.

Laborious would be the best term. They tend to tear on removal so you end up picking away at it bit by bit. The adhesive should come off with the wrap, but there are usually a few spots where some is left behind. That shouldn't be hard to remove with the right solvent (I assume Slate will have recommendations specifically for their wraps).

I'd think if the wrap is fresh, and you are handy with a heat gun, then it shouldnt be too bad if you take you time and listen to the vinyl as you are removing it.

I was wondering the same, but I have zero experience so Speculation is my MO now.

I'm going to try to buy 2 full wraps at the time of purchase. White and Black so I can do white on the passenger side and black on the driver. For where they meet I'm thinking of doing full white and then black over top the white. Any issues with Wraps on Wrap.

I agree, I like it.

Your trucks will fit right in with one of the most iconic original Star Trek episodes, especially if you precisely matched the B/W and used the remainder on a second truck.
