Is PPF over the factory gray composite panels possible? I really want to preserve that original look. I think there’s something special about keeping the factory color with a gloss, matte, or even a ’frozen’ finish like I’ve seen on some BMWs.I'm sure the wraps will be vinyl, not colored PPF, although there may be a PPF option as well.

PPF would be for people who prefer to embrace less visible wear, which includes more than sun damage.Part of the reason the panels are coming in a basic grey is that is the easiest to do with additives for things like UV resistance. They know a significant number of trucks will be staying grey, so they will have a formulation that will stand up to the sun.
