The bottom of the Iron website is also (C) 2035 for some reason. But yeah, the entire thing is AI slop top to bottom. Most of the pictures look like they just kept asking the image generators for Slate colored Toyota T100s.

That Ironwood site is complete AI slop top to bottom. The hero image of the SUV literally says "IRONWOOO" on the grille. Appreciate the laugh!

Speaking of hypothetical vehicles, the Telo build feature is now active on their website. I justr built my Telo, red, amber interior, AWD, long range battery, 500 HP. A cool $50,000 that I cannot afford. But, if they're able to reach market, I bet Telos will be the "I'm different" signature vehicle in California.

R2T please. The "please" is directed at RJ Scaringe, who has hinted they'll offer it after R2S is launched. Even better - an R3T to go with the R3X, but I think that's me being greedy.

Plenty of Rivians in my area of WNC. Because we have lots of wealthy retirees from the coasts. Teslas in Asheville are as common as Fords.

The vehicle I'd choose over the Slate is this: www.ironwoodmotorsusa.com but my guess is that Ironwood is fake or will never happen. But that is only because I live in an apartment and will need to charge around town rather than at home.

Your suspicions are spot on. From Grok: Ironwood Motors is likely fake or non-operational. There are major red flags:

• No verifiable business details: The site lacks an about page, physical address, phone number, founder info, or team bios. It uses a generic Gmail ([email protected]) and is built on Wix, common for unestablished sites.

• Suspicious elements: The copyright is dated © 2035 (a future year, possibly a template error), and there’s no evidence of production, deliveries, or facilities.

• Zero external validation: No news articles, press releases, or mentions of a launch/founding. Searches for reviews, scams, or legitimacy yield nothing relevant—only unrelated old Michigan dealerships from the 1990s or a Virginia auto repair shop.

• Minimal social presence: A Facebook page with just 16 likes has generic promo posts but no real engagement, photos of vehicles, or events. No activity on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, or forums like Reddit.

It resembles vaporware—a concept site without real backing, possibly to collect waitlist emails. If you’re considering a purchase, avoid it; check established makers like Ford or Toyota for similar trucks. For confirmation, search business registries like the BBB or state filings (none found for this entity).

I'd be quite interested in the RWD R3. Not sure I'm willing to wait long enough for the eventual disappointment at the price however
