Was it the 2.2? There was recently a video of a person bringing an '82 back to life, it was quite an interesting watch. My first car was a 1985 Dodge Charger. I though I was cool with that car back then

Yup. Mine had the 2.2, automatic, but was not the Shelby model. As my first car, I loved it.Was it the 2.2? There was recently a video of a person bringing an '82 back to life, it was quite an interesting watch.
Slate’s icebreaker question is: What was your first vehicle? We might as well have a thread with that.
Mine. 1984 Nissan 2 door pickup 2 wheel drive 5 speed manual. Pre hard body with the tie down hooks on the outside of the bed. The easiest truck I have ever owned to load things secure and transport items.
The Slate is taking me back.

I bought a 1957 T-Bird immediately after graduating from high school in 1966. When it rained or I drove through a water puddle the passenger and I both got soaked because the inner fenders were gone and the firewall was rotting away. I plan to sell my 2009 Hummer H3T which I have owned since new when the Slate becomes available. Cost to operate should decrease dramicallyMy first car was a 1985 Dodge Charger.
