So question is it better to have the radiator as cold as it can be meaning max heat dissipation for better efficiency on a ev or is it more like a ice where a goldy locks zone is needed because if colder is better I could see a couple companies making a upgraded version and I wonder what that radiator is like row count and how efficient it is I know the motor would run better colder at least where wear and tear apply just interested to know

Probably something else I have to learn. I grew up in Maine. We put antifreeze/coolant in radiator to prevent. I recently learned for my tractor I can’t just replace with water else it overheats due to lowering boiling point.

Most motors are happy at any temperature you are. The size of the radiator is important to keep it cool while it's creating power. If the motor is ~95% efficient when you're going down the highway using 15-20kw continuous, that motor will be putting out around 750-1000w of heat that the cooling system needs to take care of.
So to answer your question, usually cooler is better. If the motor is too hot the resistance on the windings will go up and effect efficiency, but at what temperature that would have a meaningful effect, I would have to calculate that to tell you.
My guesstimation is telling me that the only way I see extra cooling helping is maybe for towing.

It looks like there might be two separate radiators based on seeing a thicker strip of metal towards that thicker piece of bumper. Maybe the lower portion is the AC condenser and the upper portion is the battery/motor cooling loop? Also LOL @ "NiceTime" wipers, searching those gave some interesting results. Impressed these prototypes aren't using off-the-shelf consumable parts from the local autoparts store for these super early models.

FWIW, in a video Eric Kyper calls that the partition.

In another video the removable part with a window that's above the partition is referred to as the halo.

I just would like to understand how it is sealed to prevent water leakage into the cab.

I heard that someone at slate that's working on the body previously worked on the jeep body. I haven't heard of them leaking so I'm not too worried.

Actually, this is a valid point. The dryness makes the temperature change in shade much more apparent. I used to live in humid Florida and standing under a tree was just as miserable as standing directly under the sun. Anything under 100 degrees (in proper American farenheit) is pretty nice. In my humble opinion.
