Nice work! Is that PLA? How long did it take to print? Did you use Bambu, Creality, or Flashforge? Oh… were the door handles somehow reversed in the model? 😬

PLA, Bambu, the door handles were already in the file that someone else had made that I modified. I just looked and the door handles look the same on the drivers side but reversed on the passenger side. Never noticed that before.
Well I did say it wasn’t 100% accurate.

update: I saw a new video last night and both door handles were the same as on my model. So I guess since they are still in the prototype phase the design is still being updated.

Thank you for your work on adding all the detail to the stl. I printed out the first one on thingiverse and was trying to hand paint it, but it was coming out like those plastic airplane models I made 60 years ago, messy. So I've got my buddy with a brand new big bambu 4-color working on your stl. Can't wait till he gets it done.

For some reason when I try to import the Slate body or wheels .stl files into Orca the dimensions exceed the plate dimensions. Did you scale the files before importing? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Well they are sized for my Printer. I don’t know if your program is changing the size or not. I have never used that one.

Well after a few YouTube videos on Orca Slicer I am now in full printing mode!

Here are the models I downloaded on Thingiverse. I have already printed the wheels, axles, steering wheel, SUV and blank slate top. Now the full body is in print, I have about 3 1/2 hours to go. Will post pictures of the full Slate later today. Progress!

Here's how mine came out. I love it. The print lines look bad in closeup pictures but the model looks fine to the naked eye. 7-1/2" in length. Friend said this larger size worked out better for the multi-color.
