I kind of like that there is no carpet. What is it about auto carpet that acts like velcro for every bit of debris you track in? It never vacuums cleanly.

Never realized these don't have carpet/mats in them. This is even more like my 1979 Dodge W150! My Dodge never had carpeting in it, no radio, crank windows, and is 2 doors(bench seat). This continues to be a modern EV, short-bed version on my truck, and I'm all for it!

Definitely better to have no carpet than go the ultra cheap route. My generation of Fit didn't come with floor mats and owners were reporting wearing holes in the cheapo carpet after only 25K miles! Horrid velcro-like material too. As long as there's either little hooks for holding a carpet or a drop in tub-style floor covering I can hose out I'll be happy.
