All the wrap color names have changed. But $500 for a bunch of good colors is great! I was thinking about just ordering my own 50' roll and doing it from scratch, but you're not going to beat those prices by much with good vinyl. They must have been able to get good overlaps in the die cutting process to save on material.

2000 lbs towing capacity, 1550 lbs payload, and 135 kW/180 HP motor have all returned per the leak.

I'm over the moon SUPER EXCITED about the 205 mile range at $24,950, that's fantastic. More than I need!

2" hitch receiver kit is only $100. I'm a bit surprised, but pleased to see that it's just a small bolt-on receiver, not a whole wiring harness and cooling kit and so on.

May need to do some DIY wiring to install a 7-way if I want trailer brakes.

The truck includes a portable charger, the store just recommends an off-the-shelf Emporia Classic L2 wall charger - at the exact same price as it's currently listed on Amazon. Glad to see there's not too much markup there!

It includes the NACS portable charger, but the FAQ says " Adapters for CCS (Level 3) and J1772 (Level 2) charging will be available in our accessories marketplace." I don't see those with the off-vehicle components in the Maker.

Guess they don’t know the difference between standard tome and daylight savings time.

Dammit! There'no long-range version. 205 miles isn't enough for me. Winter range will be even worse.

I wanted this so bad and wouldve paid for the bigger battery. Why, Slate? Why?
Do you have an EV? I see your sidebar vehicle list says 2021 Kia Seltos, which is not an EV. I think you'll be fine once you learn to use it. You're in New England, which is densely packed with chargers. Can you charge at home? If not, I can understand not being able to get through a whole work week on one charge, but if you can charge up to full every night and learn to use ABRP on road trips...it's really not going to be a big deal.

It's only a 35 mile drop from the original NMC extended range battery, and probably a $4500 savings!

Assuming you can charge at home, I expect you'll spend less time in a given year waiting at chargers on occasional very long distance days than you would have spent at gas stations in your Kia. If you're a supercommuter, driving over 200 miles per day, the Slate was never for you and you needed something with huge amounts of range.

I'd be sad to see you give up on it. Maybe rent a Bolt or something for a week, pretend that it's 200 mile range not 262, and see if you can experience how it works IRL? That instinctual fear of running out of battery range is not unusual, but it's not necessary.
