That’s funny because I just looked that up last night. Ok so my wife looked it up, since she pays the electric bill haha. Now I just gotta find a local electrician to install the charger for me with out killing my bank account.

So what state are you in? I thought PPL only serviced Eastern PA but when I looked it up they do have other state as they are in.

Honestly didn’t even know what PPL was. I was thinking what “people” is he talking about. I’m from the nearby state of Ohio and had never heard of them. Guess I need to get out more!!

Local power utilities may have a number of not-well-advertised benefits, so be sure to look before doing anything or signing up with Slate's install partner, Treehouse. My utility offers a big rebate on chargers, but you need to have an EV purchase agreement in hand, so I'm stuck in limbo and can't move forward with anything for a while.

Yeah, mine did have charger rebates, but they must have ended, not seeing them anymore. Will have to see if they are available again closer to getting the truck.

My utility has an $1100 refund on electrician fees, but not the charger. The bill has to be specifically itemized, and the EV has to be registered to my address.

So, yeah, I'm waiting to get closer to purchase.
