Can you add a Buy-It-Now button? 😆For those impatiently waiting to get their preorders in, here’s a count down timer to help pass the time…..
Countdown to Slate Preorder
Ha! I already have 150,000 bids on this bad boy...Can you add a Buy-It-Now button? 😆
Hah! I am still waiting for Tesla to work out all the bugs in the Cybertruck, including the price gouging $40k to $50k increase.I completely agree. I think a lot of people are going to have to make the conversion choice with a lot of unanswered questions (even with the 30-day deposit window) and that's a big ask. Even early deliveries are likely far enough out that it's not crazy to say "I've waited this long, what's another 6 - 12 months if it gives me a chance to have all my questions answered before making a commitment."
Apple had a market cap of $174 billion in 2007. Slate is a pre-revenue start-up. That is like comparing apples to oranges, pardon the pun.Reserve, Preorder!
Apple would not be what it is today if they would have said in 2007 “preorder your iPhone, and we might get it to you sometime in 2010?”
Slate is Amazon just a smallest of small sliver. LOLApple had a market cap of $174 billion in 2007. Slate is a pre-revenue start-up. That is like comparing apples to oranges, pardon the pun.
is it? Bezos, through Bezos Expeditions, not Amazon, invested an undisclosed amount of money. It was in a round that apparently raised $111 million from all investors in that round, but not all of that is from Bezos.Slate is Amazon just a smallest of small sliver. LOL
Yep, this supports most of what I've read; really irks me when Slate keeps being labeled as "Bezos-backed" or "Amazon Truck" etc. As I understand it, he has very little to do with the financing of Slate, and nothing at all to do with it's development.is it? And, evidently, Bezos’ rep is no longer on the board. No reason to believe he or Amazon are meaningfully involved
