I saw some version of this page recently, but I think this has more info and details.
Pretty sure the other version didn't have the doubled text though.
I'm a bit disappointed they didn't answer what I considered an obvious/serious question: Whether getting a wrap after owning the vehicle for a while and getting wear and contaminants on the surface will be significantly more work than pristine Slate Gray. Actually, I hope that the physical-chemical properties that make the Slate hard to paint and require special adhesive on wraps might make stuff sticking to the surface less of an issue (for the base panels, I mean)...
I know the question has been asked on the forum before (admittedly, haven't looked into the answer), but it seems like something Slate should address.

You know, a $300 non-refundable preorder sounds like enough to cover the cost of shipping an 8.5"x11" sample of a panel, + a sample of wrap to test on.
And the wrap is either some sort of SLATE promo/ sign like the one they have in the store, and we can use the result as office/garage decor while we wait for the real deal and contemplate (and explain/ promo to our coworkers about it).
Just spitballing. Probably not practical or cost-effective. But wouldn't that be neat?

Although non-refundable, your $300 is fully applied to the final price of the Slate. There is no surplus for shipping and free samples no matter how trivial it may seem.

It would be neat if they offered it in their merch store. These things are expensive however in the real world. Link below is such a sample book of a popular manufacturer Hexis. It's $40 plus shipping, with others down to $20 each plus shipping. Slate would not likely be down for sending everyone an extra $30-50.

No, but Slate enthusiasts might be down to spend $50 (or "rent" with a deposit and ship back for a refund) a sample swatch book of all the Slate books. Or once I thought I knew which color or two I wanted I'd buy a couple die cut relief Slate logo decals in my color and risk $10 before dropping $1000 on the full installed wrap.
Or we just need to have the forum pool our funds together, buy 100 units of $500 full wrap kits, run them though my wife's Circuit, and sell $50 swatch books to 1000 people. That's 50x12x12/1000 = 7 square inches per color, seems about business card sized.

No different than picking out a paint swatch at your local hardware / paint store. It's always best to take those home and see them in your own lighting. Just like the Slate: I want to see those colors under the sun.
