The things you don’t even think of when it comes to EV when you’re not an EV owner

That would be June, not July not January, back to the planning board
I only know because I can't run in EV mode on my Jeep when it's below 40F...it simply refuses to dip from the battery. Due to complaints, this may have been fixed somewhat in a firmware update, but I've never been to the shop. Bonestock firmware April 2021. My tail lights remain dim when Regen breaking. 😗

I could see slate lobbying for an exemption in Indiana law for an Indiana based manufacturer to be able to direct sell in Indiana.

I would just take my 8.1L gas powered 2500HD GMC and a trailer. 8 miles to the gallon to pick up my EV. 🤘🛻

I asked and the answer for now was ‘not at this time’. I would love a factory pickup. Rivian does it. Many other MFG do it. Lots of good prior suggestions.

I love this idea. One thing to be aware of about the state of Indiana ... our auto dealership laws are still stuck in the 1950s. I haven't heard much about how Slate plans to tackle this yet. Tesla's approach 7-8 years ago was interesting (and successful):

Or..Mark Walter is a Carvana investor and Carvana is national including Indiana so they could do the factory delivery as well as be a national delivery channel…hmmmm

hopefully they rethink that strategy in the next 16 months, it would help lower costs, lessen logistics and make for potentially a better buying experience

I’m sure their focus is on getting there, we are asking them to put the cart before the horse at this point, at some point they will get to where they need to really fine tune the delivery process and customer pickup could help them deliver
