Shipping prices would be good, but hear me out. What if, and I know it’ll sound crazy… but what if they just put all of our accessories in the bed of the truck before loading it on the carrier? I mean, am I that off base to assume that is the plan?

In all seriousness though, I really liked the idea of at least giving us the index of topics to expect on SLATEU (missed opportunity to name the truck PLATE).

It wouldnt matter to me if I got the information I need to finalize a purchase even a few days before I had to buy. You cant buy now so what difference does it make if the info comes out now or right before you need to actually buy?

Whatever they put out, Ill read it. But I know the key parameters Im looking for and it wont take me months to decide after the information comes out.

Functionally true, but I'd like to narrow down my costs so I can make sure I have the money I need in place, I know how I'm going to service it, and everything else. A good portion of it is anticipation too, sure.

I have 11 months to pull together extra money and I'd like to be able to decide if I go super-frugal or get something a little more than just the truck by itself.

Not sure what the marshmallow test is.

Perhaps some of us intend buy a Slate to replace an aging/failing vehicle in the near term. Our decision is either wait another 5 months to a year for Slate delivery or cut bait now and buy either a used vehicle or perhaps a new vehicle.

Knowing more now about the final price of the Slate and warranty services details would greatly help in that decision.

Agree, it doesn't quite apply here. It would fit better if say, Slate had so many orders they wanted to fill up Q4-2027 and gave people incentives to move their slot back.

Lot’s of excitement with the new Event/Ridealong info.
But what would we like to see next from Slate? Was tempted to use survey format, but didn’t Cuz didn’t want to overlook something.

1 . Continued fleshing out the Maker, details, full pricing, installation, availability. For me that would be be the bed topper, be it the Cargo kit or SUV shell without seat and rollbar.

2. Shipping info. Actual destination points. Pickup/ delivery procedures. Delivery costs beyond destination.

3. Slate University. Start feeding us info, even small pieces as they become available, even with a subject to change disclaimer.

4. Video of Warsaw progress. Especially a nice line of finished Slates coming off the line.

what else? Please limit to actual production, not the wish list stuff from other threads like AWD, etc.

I feel the absolute #1 thing Slate has to clarify is what RepairPal shops have signed on, and in what capacity. Everything else seems secondary to whether or not there is an appealing local repair facility certified to work on high voltage electronics.

I have 2 in my area, both an hour away and from the pictures and location I’m not sure it’s safe to be in either of those areas.
